Singer, songwriter, and model Justine Skye is known for her hip hop sound that merges soulful R&B, Afrobeat energy, reggae flavor, and her powerhouse vocals. She has been celebrated by Vogue, V Magazine, Billboard, and Fader. A Brooklyn native, Skye began her rise to fame with a blowup cover of Drake’s "Headlines" reaching over 2 million views on YouTube. After signing to Atlantic Records in 2015, her second EP, Emotionally Unavailable, solidified her unique sound’s hold on the public as it garnered over 8 million Spotify streams in less than a year with hit singles “Collide” (feat. Tyga) and “I’m Yours” (feat. Vic Mensa). That same year, she performed at TIDAL10X20, an event created by Jay-Z and Tommy Hilfiger, hosted in Brazil.
She is also featured on “Overtime” from ScHoolboy Q’s chart-dominating Blank Face LP alongside Miguel, and has performed at Apple Music Fest in London and Made In America 2016. Skye signed to Roc Nation to release her third EP, 8 Ounces, collaborating with songwriters The-Dream and Tricky Stewart and artists like Wale. Skye’s debut full-length album Ultraviolet dropped in 2018, featuring the single “Lil’ Boy”.
